Can-can madames, lumberjill hikers, and prancing blackberries are just a few of the acts that will delight audiences at the Jewelbox Theater this June 2024!

Tickets open May 1st - Don't miss it!

Sister Kate has been kicking up their heels to music from the 1920's-1960's for nearly two decades. This time they dance you through the history, the quirkiness, and the love of all things Seattle!

We are SO ECSTATIC to have performer, writer, and all around theatre maker, Opal Peachey, joining us as our fabulous femcee for this show run!

Opal Peachey is a founding company member of the immersive dinner theater, Nordo and has originated roles in 12 productions.

Opal graces the stage of the Triple Door each January as the ghost of Frederic Chopin in Bohemia (writer, composer) an annual audience favorite. Other companies she has worked with as a performer and producer include ACT Theater, Book-It Repertory Theater, Annex Theater, and The Re-Bar.

Bohemia made it’s European debut at the Ballhaus Theater in 2022, with Opal performing Chopin to sold-out houses.

Ms. Peachey holds a B.F.A. from Cornish College of the Arts, with an emphasis in original works, playwriting and directing. She worked as a stage manager for several years after graduation, booked out years in advance, before meeting the artistic directors of Nordo and making the leap to onstage performance and producing her own work.

In addition to live theater, Peachey is also an accomplished voiceover actor. Her most recent project is “The Curve of Time Podcast”, a serial family friendly adventure story - Opal plays the matriarch and ship captain, Katherine Wells.

Opal was our guest director for Sister Kate’s Science Museum, and has acted as backstage manager for our recent burlesque show, Madame Kate’s Menagerie. We look forward to Opal sharing the stage with us and leading our audiences through our dance story of Seattle.
