Formed in 2006, the Sister Kate Dance Company (SKDC) is a nationally-recognized dance troupe, dedicated to celebrating and continuing the legacy of jazz-era chorus line dancing.

Sister Kate has choreographed hundreds of routines, directed and presented ten full-length cabaret shows, inspired numerous spin-off companies, and has appeared in countless performances around Puget Sound and beyond, including Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Cancun, Mexico.

SKDC specializes in vintage chorus girl jazz dances from the 1920s-1960s, with inspiration ranging from CanCan dancers to flappers to Broadway musicals.
